As the current heroin and opioid epidemic that is killing people and destroying lives and families in every single community was taking hold, NY-3 Democratic candidate Tom Suozzi closed the only residential addiction treatment programs in Nassau County when he was County Executive.

Law enforcement organizations representing thousands of police officers from Nassau County, Suffolk County and New York City joined together today to support Jack Martins for Congress. Martins, a sitting New York State Senator, is the Republican Congressional candidate in NY-3.

The race between Republican Jack Martins and Democrat Tom Suozzi has tightened dramatically, according to a new poll released today; less than 1 point separates the candidates. Martins has closed the gap and has momentum going into the final three weeks of the race.

Tom Suozzi’s forged signatures and dead voters haven’t even been removed from the count yet and the bad news keeps getting worse; the current count now has him below the required 3,500 signatures needed to get a second ballot line.

Today, one of Tom Suozzi’s campaign workers pled the fifth in response to questioning about forged signatures in the Suozzi nominating petitions. “When will Tom Suozzi come forward and admit his petition carriers broke the law? His own employee pled the fifth. But in court, his own attorney won’t accept the fact that the voters whose names appear in the Suozzi petitions include dead voters and forged signatures. Suozzi’s own attorney is still trying to justify the witness’ criminal activity, proving once again you just can't trust Tom Suozzi,” said O’Brien Murray, a Martins Sr. Advisor.

Another dead person has managed to come back to life and sign Democrat candidate Tom Suozzi’s nominating petition. “The bad news keeps getting worse for the Suozzi campaign; after admitting that their workers committed fraud during the petition process, it now appears that a third dead person’s signature found its way onto Suozzi’s petitions,” said O’Brien Murray, a Martins Sr. Advisor.

Martins was one of 11 candidates nationwide to receive the designation, the top tier of the NRCC’s Young Guns program.

On Thursday, The National Republican Congressional Committee added Jack Martins to the Young Guns program naming him as “On the Radar”, the first level of the NRCC’s Young Guns program, ahead of the 2016 elections.
